A taste of the Amalfi Coast,
in the heart of Hythe.
Wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood, and the simple joy of a good meal shared in good company.

Come hungry. Leave like family.
We come from the small coastal towns of Southern Italy, where the sea is never far and the kitchen is the heart of every home. We brought that life with us to Hythe: the slow lunches, the open bottles of wine, the table that always has room for one more.
Everything we serve is made the way we learned it. Fresh fish, real ingredients, dough fired in the wood oven, and no shortcuts.

Fired in the wood oven
Our pizzas come from a real wood-burning oven: blistered, light, and unmistakable. The way Naples intended.
Fresh from the sea
Mussels, clams, prawns, sea bass, swordfish: the seafood guests come back for, cooked simply to let it shine.
A table to share
Good food, a good glass of wine, and the pleasure of sharing it all. That is la dolce vita, and you are invited.
A taste of what is waiting.

Stinco di Agnello
Slow roasted lamb shank in a mint gravy with seasonal vegetables.

N'duja & Burrata Pizza
Wood-fired, with rocket and fresh burrata torn over the top.

Spaghetti allo Scoglio
Prawns, calamari, mussels and clams in white wine, tomato and chilli.

Tiramisu
Mascarpone, espresso, cocoa, made the proper way.

Our first bite took us straight back to Rome! It is honestly the nicest Italian food we have had in the uk. We have been back 4 times.
What a special place! Truly authentic Italian in food, drink and vibes. Lovely people and decor. Everything you could want.
Great food, fresh ingredients, generous portions and a really enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely come back again.

The warm buzz of a real Italian trattoria. Not a performance of Italy, but the genuine article: relaxed, generous, full of life.

A short walk from the Hythe Ferry, on the edge of the New Forest. A wood-fired oven, fresh fish on ice, and tables set close enough to share a bottle with the people next to you.
